Hello! We’re ALL CAPS and sometimes we forget important things… like the fact that we have a website. Haha.

To avoid confusion, the fall tour dates that were previously listed on the “Shows” page have been deleted, since those were tour dates from 2010 and are not where we’re going to be in 2011. New tour dates will be posted on that page as we have the information to give you, so keep checking back!

In band related news, Luke and I just got back from playing an AWESOME show at Playlist Live in Orlando! Here’s a picture I just found on twitter from our show with us both looking pretty goofy:

We met so many awesome YouTubers for the first time, got to hang out with old friends, and even got to fight each other to the death in a giant bouncing jousting arena (okay we’re both still alive). We had a total blast, and can’t wait to play another Florida show in 2 weeks in Miami! Guess we should be glad Florida has nice weather, huh? It’s a long flight!!

Kristina and I just got back from Fall tour so I added a bunch of pictures for that and Summer tour in the video. It was a such a fun tour, but now it is back to writing. I spent all day yesterday writing and mixing the song, and most of today making the music video – literally leaving only time to eat and sleep. I am going to take it easy tonight and watch a few episodes of The Office with Jason.

Hello ALL CAPS fans!

Luke and I have been terrible about keeping you up to date with the latest news, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been plenty busy with fun ALL CAPS related things!

Here are the exciting things we’ve done since we last posted here … four months ago. xD

1. Went on Tour.

We went on a five week tour that stretched across the United States and back, hitting all four corners of the country. We had SUCH a good time getting to know so many of you, playing our first live shows, attending VidCon, and just generally having a complete blast.

I kept a pretty detailed tour vlog of the whole trip, so if you’re interested in seeing that, here’s the first one!

2. Went Home.

Luke and I went back to our respective summer lives after tour. Him river rafting in Wyoming, and me being home in Seattle. Except for that week I went to the Bahamas.

3. As far as the future goes, we have a lot of exciting stuff coming up. First of all, we’re going on TOUR this fall, and you can find information about our dates and shows if you check out the “SHOWS” tab up at the top of our site. We’ll be joined by Alex Carpenter, Jason Munday and Mike Lomboardo, so it’s sure to be a great time.

We’re also working on our new album, which is going to be ACOUSTIC (so, very different than our last two releases). We hope you guys like it when it comes out! It’ll be available for purchase at our shows on fall tour, unless something terrible happens in the next month. Like if a meteor crash lands on Luke’s computer. Or something.

Luke also just got a fancy new camera, so we’re hoping to do some new music videos in the near future. In the mean time, he’s posted a new video on the ALL CAPS YouTube channel, so be sure to check that out if you haven’t already!

Thanks for everything you guys do as our fans, and we hope to see you at one of our shows!

Hey guys! Luke here with an update.

I finally arrived in Wyoming the other day to work my rafting in the Grand Teton National Park. My friends and I drove to Jackson, Wyoming that night to celebrate another year on the Snake River and it seemed to be a normal, fun night at the bar. Then I checked my Twitter account and saw that I had a new direct message:

Needless to say I was like ***o.O***  Shane Dawson (he’s #3 most subscribed on youtube) wants to use ALL CAPS music in one of his videos.  THAT’S AWESOME!  I wrote him back to say thank you and that we were all going to have a drink to celebrate the occasion.  What an awesome guy to reach out to a band so new to youtube and not only feature us in his video, but then link to our youtube channel and iTunes!!  So rad.  His video was posted today, and the ALLCAPSBAND youtube channel gained 350 subscribers within an hour and a half and we’re still getting more per hour.  xD  If you want to see the music video for the “Summer of ’09″ song that he used, check it out below.

I also made a new vlog on the ALL CAPS BAND youtube channel about my arrival to Wyoming and the Grand Tetons.  I usually take out a scout trip early in the season without guests to make sure the river is safe to run.  The video is below! EAT YOUR VEGETABLES, KIDS!

Luke here with an update.  :)  I spend my summers rafting down the Snake River in the Grand Teton National Park working as a river guide.  Every year before I go, I spend about a month getting back in shape to safely navigate people down the dangerous stretch of river that I run.

To get back into shape (and for fun), I challenged Kristina in my video to work out with me.  I hope she does, as working out with friends seems to work best.  So if you’re up for it, you should join me (us)!  Here is what I am planning on doing to start:

3 sets of 20 push-ups

3 sets of 20 sit-ups

Run 1 mile

3 times a week

I think that is good starting spot as I don’t want to get started too strong for everyone getting involved.  I would love to hear your feedback if you join in.  I’ve found that eating healthy and working out regularly leads to feeling better about yourself, having more energy, and gives you a feeling of accomplishment.  If you’re just starting, it’s tough at first.  But if you stick with it (together), I really think we can do it!  If you start, leave a comment or video response to my video here.

WHAT AN AWESOME WEEKEND!  Both The Parselmouths and Ministry of Magic were invited to fly out to Manhattan, Kansas to play for Hallows and Horcruxes 3 so we decided to try out an ALL CAPS song – “Lumos Flies” – to prepare for our summer tour.  It was so fun and everyone was dancing around and singing along.

Everyone’s sets were amazing.  We had all the bands running around and basically having a party on stage for the MoM set too.  After the show, we hung out with all the fans and took embarrassing and hilarious pictures.  If you are friends with us on facebook, be sure to check them out.  xD
