Hallows and Horcruxes 3

by ALL CAPS on April 19, 2010

WHAT AN AWESOME WEEKEND!  Both The Parselmouths and Ministry of Magic were invited to fly out to Manhattan, Kansas to play for Hallows and Horcruxes 3 so we decided to try out an ALL CAPS song – “Lumos Flies” – to prepare for our summer tour.  It was so fun and everyone was dancing around and singing along.

Everyone’s sets were amazing.  We had all the bands running around and basically having a party on stage for the MoM set too.  After the show, we hung out with all the fans and took embarrassing and hilarious pictures.  If you are friends with us on facebook, be sure to check them out.  xD

Also make sure to subscribe to the ALL CAPS YouTube channel if you haven’t yet as we are going to start using that more for all sorts of entertaining videos over the next few months including interactive vlogs.  CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU ON TOUR THIS SUMMER!

I think you may be on to something that Dumbledore will leave a few key tnhigs to Harry. But I doubt the Mirror will be one of them. I expect most of Dumbledore’s powerful items will have been left to Hogwarts, for all future Headmasters and Headmistresses to use. And don’t forget that Dumbledore had important people in his life before Harry Potter. He has a brother, for one thing, even if they don’t seem to be close. Then there is Madame Rosemerta. I expect MacGonnigal and some other friends and associates also to inherit some important tnhigs.Even Snape will inherit tnhigs and in the Wizarding World, inheritances seem to have a power of their own (witness Harry suddenly having power over the house on Grimmauld Place). Thus, Snape will somehow gain something, even though he can’t possibly appear before any good Wizards or Witches to claim his inheritance. But Harry will get something. Don’t know what. And it may be something that no one would expect, at first glance, to be critical. The Sword of Gryffindor is obviously important, but will never leave Hogwarts, so Harry will not get it back. Ditto the Mirror. No, Harry will inherit something that seems personal, emotional, not powerful or practical: some token of Dumbledore’s grandfatherly love for Harry. But then, Dumbledore keeps telling us that love is the most powerful magic of all

I’m so glad you guys are going on tour. Me and my friend really want to go to your Denver show but it’s the day after my wedding! If I can convince my parents to travel to denver me and my entire wedding party might be there! :) wish me luck!

Looks like a lot of fun :)
So obviously “Hey Kristina” was written for Kristina, but would you be offended if fans personalize the song to include their name? :) It’s such a lovely song, I wish it was for me, too.
